Welcome to Trends & Issues

About five years ago, Dr. Abbie Brown (http://www.ahbrown.com/) and I were approached to take over writing a chapter on trends and issues in instructional technology and educational technology for the Educational Media and Technology Yearbook  (http://tinyurl.com/l3za6ht)We were honored to take over for Dr. Michael Molenda (my dissertation chair http://tinyurl.com/monlenda) and Dr. Barbara Bichelmeyer  (http://tinyurl.com/bichelmeyer)  who had written this chapter for the EMT Yearbook for a number of years. Writing these chapters have provided us with the opportunity to stay current with the trends and issues in educational technology and educational technology in a variety of venues–the corporate world, the military, higher education, and K-12. This blog was created to share the resources that we come across as we prepare to write the annual chapter on trends and issues. In addition to sharing resources, we will also share our own perspectives from time-to-time along with sharing the projects we are involved with in these areas. We hope you find this resource useful.
