We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks of January 5-18, 2015. We discuss three trends that we observed as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). The trends include Google’s announcement of the retirement of Google Glass, a number of new technologies being announced (e.g. the enhanced Google Translator app & the muscle sensing Myo), and technology enhanced pedagogy.

The trends are a number of resources on top tools and trends for 2014 and predictions for 2015, virtual reality and augmented reality devices aimed at the consumer market, and news and predictions about what will be available at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show .
