We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks of March 13-29 as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). We discuss three trends that we observed. The first two trends were clearly evident by the number of available resources in the media. The first trend was online teaching and learning. There were a variety of resources focusing on research along with resources on tips for facilitating online teaching and learning. The second trend is virtual reality and augmented reality. A variety of resources were available that ranged from the use of augmented reality in business to new apps for student creation of augmented reality. The third trend was privacy and security issues. The major issue was with the current US Government possibly repealing a ban on Internet service providers (ISPs) ability to sell customer data.
