We discuss the trends and issues we observed during the weeks that include June 13-29 as we flipped resources into our Flipboard magazine (http://bit.ly/trendsandissues). We discuss four trends: online learning, AR and VR, privacy and security issues, and social media. The focus of online learning resources was on the total client experience rather than on specific issues about tools. With AR and VR focused on a number of companies developing new patents. There was a focus on privacy issues related to big data and student data. Finally, social media once again filter up as a trend with resources focusing on social media use in education.
We have four recommended readings for this episode. They are:

- Faculty: 7 Ways to Avoid Social Media Mistakes by Meris Stansbury
The next episode will air on July 14.
