Episode 100! We are excited to reach this milestone for our podcast. We began in December 2014–and we look forward to continuing on for years to come. This episode is a compilation of interviews we conducted with individuals attending the annual conference of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology that was held in Jacksonville, Florida from November 6-11, 2017.
We asked four attendees to discuss the major trend or trends they believe are impacting instructional design, educational technology, and learning sciences. The trends discussed included computational thinking, learning analytics, personalized learning, STEM education, along with the Vulcan Science Academy.
We were fortunate to be able to interview the following:
- Dr. George Veletsianos, Royal Roads University
- Dr. Barb Lockee, Virginia Tech University
- Dr. Chuck Hodges, Georgia Southern University
- Dr. Tony Betrus, State University of New York, Potsdam
We appreciated hearing from many of our listeners who attended the AECT Conference. Thank you for expressing your congratulations on reaching our 100th episode and for your appreciation of the podcast. We’d love for you all to share the love by rating us on iTunes.
